Profiling emerging leaders

Robert Denker has recently published a post entitled "Five key things to look for in emerging leaders"

His survey –for  rd&partners – found  the  following  5 top emerging competencies: 

  • Effective at collaboration

  • Delivers consistent and collective results

  • Manages her and others’ time

  • Effective in relationship management

  • Active meeting contributor

Little to do with Chicago-school portfolio management or cutting-edge SW technologies, to name a few.

Profiling with only 5 criteria may make it hit the news; if you want to be serious, you’ll probably be considering 50+.
